- Fully press the accelerator pedal and make sure the throttle is fully open (if not, adjust the throttle cable).
- Push the accelerator pedal all the way down (fully release the accelerator pedal) and loosen the adjusting nuts.
- Adjust the cable so that the distance between the end of the boot and the stopper on the cable is within the allowable range.
- Tighten the adjusting nuts and recheck.
